1. About SOLK design

  • SOLK is a design brand based in Malmö, Sweden. 
  • The registered company name is Sofia Mannfalk, postal address is Flöjelgatan 4, 211 14 Malmö. If you wish to contact us, please send an email to [email protected] with your inquiry and your contact information, and we will get back to you shortly.

2. Ordering

  • Once you have completed your order, an order confirmation will be sent to your email address. The confirmation will contain all details regarding the products, prices, billing, and shipping addresses.
  • If there is any discrepancy in the order confirmation, please contact us immediately via email at [email protected].

3. Delivery

  • Our normal delivery times are currently 7-14 days. NOTE! Orders placed on weekends will be shipped at the earliest on the Monday following.
  • If there are any delays in delivery (without prior notice of extended delivery time), please contact us via email at [email protected].

4. Prices

  • All prices in the store are in SEK and include 25% VAT.
  • We reserve the right to adjust the price due to supplier price changes, misprints in the price list, and inaccuracies in prices due to incorrect information.

5. Right of Withdrawal

  • When purchasing goods on the website, you as a customer have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal from the date you receive an ordered item.

    5.1 When exercising your right of withdrawal:
    - You must notify us of your decision. The notification should be sent to us at [email protected]. Your message should clearly state your name, address, email address, order number, and the items for which the return applies.
    - You should return the products to us immediately and no later than within the statutory 14 days after the notification of withdrawal.
    - You are responsible for the return shipping, delivery, and condition of the products upon return, so the products should be well-packaged and in their original packaging.
    - We reserve the right to deduct an amount corresponding to the depreciation compared to the original value of the product if it has been used or damaged.

    5.2 The right of withdrawal does not apply to:
    - Products sealed for health or hygiene reasons where the seal has been broken by you.
    - Products that are sealed audio or video recordings where the seal has been broken by you.
    - Custom-made products tailored specifically for you or with a clear personal touch according to your preferences.
    - Services that have been fully performed and where you have expressly consented to the service starting without the right of withdrawal.
    - Goods liable to deteriorate rapidly, such as perishable goods.
    - Single issues of newspapers or magazines.

6. Complaints and claims

  • We inspect all products before they are sent to you. If the product still arrives damaged or incorrectly shipped, we undertake, in accordance with applicable consumer protection legislation, to rectify the error at no cost.
  • You must always contact us for approval before returning a defective item.
  • Complaints should be made immediately after the defect is discovered.

    6.1 How do you proceed with a complaint?
    - Any faults and defects should always be reported to [email protected], including your name, address, email address, order number, and a description of the fault.
    - If we are unable to rectify the error or provide a similar product, we will refund you for the defective product in accordance with applicable consumer protection legislation. We cover return shipping for approved complaints.
    - We reserve the right to reject a complaint if it turns out that the item is not defective in accordance with applicable consumer protection legislation. For complaints, we follow guidelines from the General Complaints Board, see arn.se.

7. Limitation of Liability

  • We do not accept liability for indirect damages that may arise from the product.
  • We accept no responsibility for delays/errors due to circumstances beyond the company's control (Force Majeure). These circumstances may include labor disputes, fire, war, government decisions, reduced or failed delivery from suppliers.
  • Furthermore, no responsibility is accepted for any changes to products/product features made by the respective supplier and other factors beyond our control.

8. Product Information

  • We reserve the right for any printing errors on this website and clearance of products. We do not guarantee that the images accurately represent the products as certain color variations may occur depending on the screen, photo quality, and resolution. We always strive to present the products as accurately as possible.

9. Information about Cookies

  • According to the law on electronic information, visitors to a website for privacy purposes should be informed that cookies are used. The information in the cookie can be used to track a user's browsing. A cookie is a small text file that the website you visit requests to be saved on your computer to provide access to various features. It is possible to set your browser to automatically deny cookies. 10. Personal Data

  • By shopping at SOLK, you accept our privacy policy and our processing of your personal data. We care about your personal integrity and do not collect more information than necessary to process your order. We never sell or disclose your information to third parties without legal grounds.
  • SOLK is responsible for the processing of personal data you provide to us as a customer. Your personal data is processed by us to be able to handle your order and in cases where you have requested newsletters or promotional offers - to tailor marketing to your individual needs.
    • The information below is a summary of how we store and process your data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

    • Personal data is any information that can directly or indirectly be related to a physical person.

      10.2 What data do we store?
      • To be able to handle your order and respond to questions related to your order (customer service), we store your first and last name, address, telephone number, email address, IP address, and purchase history.
      • Your data is stored as long as we have a legal basis to process your data, for example, to fulfill the agreement between us or to comply with a legal obligation such as the Accounting Act.

        10.3 Legal basis
      • In connection with a purchase, your personal data is processed to fulfill the agreement with you.
      • Marketing, campaigns, and similar mailings are sent after consent from you.

        10.4 What data is shared and for what purpose?

        10.4.1 Payment Provider
      • When making a purchase, information is shared with our payment provider. Information stored includes first name, last name, address, email address, and telephone number. If you choose to pay by invoice, your social security number is also stored with the payment provider. The information is stored to complete the purchase and to protect the parties against fraud.
        • The payment providers (payment services) we use are: SWISH, KLARNA, Stripe .

          10.4.2 Shipping Company
        • To be able to deliver your orders and fulfill our agreement, we must share specific information with the shipping company. Information shared with the shipping company includes first name, last name, and address details for delivery. Email address and/or mobile number may also be shared with the shipping company for notification purposes.

          10.4.3 Newsletter
        • If you have chosen to subscribe to our newsletter, your first name, last name, and email address are shared with our newsletter provider. This is to keep you updated with information and offers for marketing purposes. We use MailChimp for newsletter distribution.
          10.5 Right to access
      • You have the right to request a copy of all information held about you by us. Extracts are delivered electronically in a readable format.

        10.6 Right to rectification
      • You have the right to request the correction of inaccurate information or supplementation of incomplete information.

        10.7 Right to be forgotten
      • You can at any time request that the data concerning you be deleted. There are few exceptions to the right to deletion, such as if it must be retained for us to comply with a legal obligation (for example, according to the Accounting Act).

        10.8 Responsible for data protection
      • SOLK is responsible for storing and processing personal data in the online store and ensures that the rules are followed.

        10.9 How we protect your personal data
      • We use industry standards such as SSL/TLS and one-way hash algorithms to store, process, and communicate sensitive information such as personal data and passwords securely.
      • We use a Swedish platform, Quickbutik, operated by Quickbutik AB based in Helsingborg.

11. Changes to the General Terms

  • We reserve the right to make changes to the terms at any time. Changes to the terms will be published online on the website. The amended terms are deemed accepted in connection with an order or visit to the website.

12. Dispute and Choice of Law

  • In the event that a dispute cannot be resolved amicably with the company's customer service and the customer, you as a customer can turn to the General Complaints Board, see arn.se.   • In the event of a dispute, we follow decisions from ARN or equivalent dispute resolution bodies.
